Yesterday, news from international navigation industry and technological development committee says that enterprises engaged in the forum are over 200, honorable experts approximating 600. it’s going to be the largest international special forum of  navigation industry. It’s learned that the forum will be held on 16-17, Nov. 2006 in Shanghai, China.

The Organizing Committee member and administrative vice secretary of the forum Zhou Pin says that compared with last year, honorable experts attending this forum increase nearly three times and that it is a forum with the most integrated industry chain. As for the enterprises attending the exhibition, business scope includes all taches on the industry chain such as passenger cars, telecommunication traders, navigation hardware, navigation software, navigation electronic map database, navigation sales channel, and venture investment trader. The forum indicates that the development of domestic navigation industry manifests a foundation of industrialization.

According to sources, enterprise magnates will gather in the forum. Take car industry as an instance, more than 50 representatives of passenger car manufacturers home and abroad, including Shanghai GM, Volkswagen, Audi, Nissan and so on, will attend the forum. And, except for China Mobile, China Telecom, Siemens VDO, AISIN AW, German Continental, Freescale, Delphi Auto, Intel, Microsoft and other top 500 world enterprises will attend the forum, domestic prominent brands of navigation like Shinco are growing up, which indicates that domestic navigation industry develops in a multi-disciplinary trend.
